Malvern College strives to be the leading independent co-educational boarding and day school of its scale and type in the United Kingdom. Their beautiful buildings and architecture needed to be cared for as we worked, but the results are outstanding.

The beautiful Housemaster’s House with original fireplaces and stunning views over the school grounds was elegantly painted and decorated to provide a bright space with plenty of light.  The wooden window frames and blinds were treated and cared for before being painted and returned to their elegant best. The Haberdashers Girls School dining hall offered a different challenge for the painting team. With high ceilings and original seems in the roof Chris Arlett worked across a much bigger space, but still gave the utmost care and attention to the finer details. The result is a beautiful room returned to it’s former glory for the next generation of student.


Chris Arlett were asked to paint and freshen up the swimming pool at Duffryn High School over the school holidays.

With the roof above the pool needing a repair before painting and the work needing to be carried our efficiently and effectively we provided a solution that met their budget and time frames. By providing a service that avoided draining the swimming pool we were able to paint and decorate the space ready for the students return.

Newport’s Monnow Junior School required an internal facelift when Chris Arlett arrived. Hallways, class rooms and locker rooms all required painting. Our team of qualified painters worked to provide a bright and fresh feel to all rooms and corridors.


These Chepstow homes were in need of an exterior paint and refresh as the summer months approached.

Chris Arlett were asked to repaint the front of this series of houses in the Chepstow area to provide a clean and bright feel for residents.


The PDSA charity store in central Newport was in need of fresh face lift and Chris Arlett were only too happy to help. With a fresh coat of paint the shop front was brought back to life.



This building in the Cardiff area needed it’s internal walls painted, as well as handle rails and stair ways refreshed.

The result is a clean finish that brightens the hallways and corridors for residents.
